Forte injured during OTA’s
June 8th, 2009 | by BearsSTH |Matt Forte injured his left hamstring last week’s OTA’s practice. It has been reported that the MRI determined the injury was not too serious. Forte did hear a “pop” before liming off the practice field. The Bears need to be extra cautious because Forte is the centerpiece of the offense. He accounted for 74% of the Bears rushing attack and lead the team in receptions. Not to mention he is a 3 down back and is an excellent blocker. He is too valuable to lose. This type of injury could take a long time to recover. Lets hope that Forte is 100% by the time the season starts.

It’s crazy he did not get injured last season if you think about it. We had a mediocre offensive line and he carried the ball a ton! I’m just glad this is a minor injury. Matt’s a tough football player, he’ll be ready by training camp!
